Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, former U.S. President Donald Trump shared a post on social media claiming that Iran is seeking negotiations.
In his post, Trump wrote that Iran’s air defense systems, air force, navy, and leadership are “finished,” a statement widely interpreted as referring to Iranian officials.
He also shared a link to a Washington Post opinion article titled “The Birth of the Trump Doctrine.”
Trump further stated, “They want to talk. I said, ‘It’s too late!’”
