A meeting on law and order was held in Jagannathpur.
The monthly law and order meeting took place on Tuesday afternoon in the conference room of the Jagannathpur Upazila Parishad.
The meeting was chaired by Upazila Executive Officer Md. Barkat Ullah. Speakers included Assistant Commissioner of Land Riyad Bin Ibrahim, newly appointed Officer in Charge (OC) Md.
Ruhul Amin, Acting President of the Jagannathpur Press Club Taj Uddin Ahmed, General Secretary of the Press Club and President of the Jagannathpur Government Girls' High School Guardian Committee Md. Sanwar Hasan Sunu, Upazila Primary Education Officer Masum Billah, Secondary Project Implementation Officer Shimul Ali, Secondary Supervisor Arup Sarker, Chairman of Ranjiganj Union Parishad Sheikh Md. Shadrul Islam, Chairman of Shilaura Holdipur Union Parishad Shahidul Islam Bakul, and Chairman of Patli Union Parishad Angur Mia, among others.
The meeting discussed the law and order situation in the Upazila and called upon all relevant parties to work sincerely for the improvement of the law and order situation in Jagannathpur and to take necessary measures against criminals.
